HOW A PSYCHOTIC SEES THE WORLD
This is an educational video. It demonstrates the bizarre delusions of psychosis.
The ArcAngel4Myke series of videos, illustrates the disordered thinking of a person obsessed with NASA, who has constructed a complex delusion that the Apollo missions to the Moon were a hoax, part of a larger ongoing conspiracy.
Large captions show what a psychotic person BELIEVES others are saying or thinking, or what is happening, allowing us to observe the bizarre obtrusive thoughts. Some videos demonstrate how ordinary or anomalous details are interpreted to support the delusion. Others in the series portray Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse as players in the delusional conspiracy. Watching several or more videos in the ArcAngel4Myke series allows us to see the depth and conviction of the delusions.
NOTE: Thought disorders are brain disorders. Delusions can be successfully treated with modern antipsychotic medications.
The producer of the ArcAngel4Myke series does an excellent job representing how a person with psychotic delusions experiences and expresses those delusions. I commend the producer for making these psychiatric educational media freely available for academic and professional use.
